About Us
We, a group of IIT Alumni (a registered charitable trust promoted by senior IITians) have developed a virtual alumni secretariat, a state of the art mobile app on iPhone and Android. We will soon be expanding to cover over 150 institutes of national importance and few institutes abroad. We have already held discussions with about 100 IITs, AIIMSs, NITs, IISERs and others. Several of them are immediately ready to shift on this platform and others are in the process of understanding it better. We expect that by June 2024 it will be a community of over 1 Lac alumni of prestigious institutes.
The central idea is that while each institute will have its own family like private campus reserved as personal space of its own alumni, simultaneously we will collaborate across multiple institutes in certain professional areas. All institute specific communities will be self-governed by their own alumni through algorithms based controls. The needs and aspirations of alumni of various age groups are synergised by technology. Various algorithms and the logics refined by feedbacks is a continuous process to ensure this self-governed virtual secretariat continues to serve the alumni as per the demands of times.
We are committed to provide a basic connection and networking services to the members of all institutes on a free of cost basis. The development and maintenance costs for managing such a platform will be borne by this registered trust which is already well funded by donations from alumni of leading institutes of engineering, medicine, management and law like IITs, AIIMSs, NLUs, IISERs and others.
